9 April 2021 Our Ref: 20BRT0474 Council Ref: MCU20/0150 Attention: Timothy Balcombe JFP Urban Consultants (Maroochydore) T1. 209 Kon-Tiki Business Centre 55 Plaza Parade Maroochydore QLD 4558 Dear Tim, RE: Proposed Residential Development 101-105 Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville Traffic Engineering Response to Council Information Request Introduction TTM Consulting Pty Ltd (TTM) has been engaged by Altum Property Group to provide a traffic engineering response to the information request email dated 12 March 2021 issued by Noosa Council. The request is in relation to Development Application MCU20/0150 for a proposed residential development at 101-105 Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville. It is understood that this letter will form part of a response to the issued information request. The RFI item and TTM response is outlined below. (i) The proposed median in Eumundi Noosa Rd at the access driveway should be extended further north so that the end of the median is 5m north of the driveway, and “no u-turn” signage needs to be added to prohibit u-turns at both ends of the central median – this could be conditioned. (ii) The TTM report assesses carpark size requirements, but it is not clear how that is possible when there are no dimensions shown on the plans for any of the many multitude of columns located adjacent to parking spaces. Column sizes and their location relative to the ends of parking spaces needs to be added to the plans, and then TTM need to confirm that those elements are satisfactory. TTM Response i) TTM have reviewed this item and have no objection to the median being extended a further 5m north of the driveway or providing this requirement as a condition. It is suggested that signage will only be required on the northern end of the median (for northbound traffic).
