MCU14/0106 Appendix J - Retail Needs Assessment

    The proposed expansion of Noosa Civic, which is the subject of this assessment, will comprise an
     additional 21,980 sq.m of retail GLA and will include the following components:

         an additional 5,400 sq.m discount department store;

         an additional 5,550 sq.m of supermarket floorspace;

         a further 3,260 sq.m of mini-major floorspace;

         additional specialty retail tenancies totalling 7,770 sq.m; and

         additional non-retail floorspace of 890 sq.m including a multi-use area and gym.

    At completion, the expansion would take the total centre retail floorspace to approximately
     43,147 sq.m.
