4.13         ESTIMATED DISTRIBUTION OF RETAIL TRADE
The estimated distribution of retail trade of the centres – and resultant market shares - is displayed below
in Table 4.7 (Food) and Table 4.8 (Non-Food). The distribution of trade for Noosa Civic has been based
on the Quantium data provided, adjusted where required to fit the Urbis retail product groups. The
estimated distribution of retail trade for the other centres takes into account a variety of factors as follows:

    Quantium market shares provided for specific categories by postcode;

    the location of the centre;

    the size of the centre; and

    the likely catchment area of the centre, using the Urbis intercept survey results as a guide.
