As someone who has stayed at the Hastings for many years, including at #21, my wife and I are dismayed at the proposal for the development referenced in the Subject field of this email.

The scale of the development is highly disproportionate and out of complete character with the current complex and the environs.  It would severely impact privacy, amenity and block natural light to many of the apartments.  It would also likely severely impact traffic flow within the development.

Noosa Council should preserve the unique character of the village and its natural beauty and not allow such ‘Gold Coast like’ structures to encroach the built environment.
