Reference #1869L1 Live It Acoustics ABN 74 161 234 626 33 Tombarra Street, Mooloolaba QLD 4557 1300 775 800 [email protected] Monday, 3 March 2025 Reference #1869L1 Attn: Glenn Thiele Dear Glenn, Live it Acoustics conducted an acoustic assessment for 4 Pines Noosa, located at 81 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads (part of Lot 1 on RP206645). The assessment was conducted in accordance with the requirements of Liquor Guideline 51: Preparing an acoustic report (G51) which has been submitted to The Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR). The purpose of the assessment was to determine maximum noise limits for the venue associated with amplified entertainment to ensure the venue does not produce “unreasonable” noise as defined in the Liquor Act 1992 (Qld). The assessment considered the following key aspects: • The existing ambient noise environment, which was quantified through attended noise measurements at the expected quietest operating period (i.e. on a Monday night); and • Noise emissions associated with amplified entertainment, patron noise and mechanical plant, which were quantified via the intrusive noise testing requirements of G51; Based on the outcomes of the assessment, noise management and other mitigation measures were provided to the venue including specific noise limits regarding the maximum allowable levels of amplified entertainment. We infer that should the recommendations provided in the G51 acoustic report (ref: 1869d1-A, dated 20 February 2025) be implemented in full, then the venue is also expected to satisfy the intent of Planning Scheme Policy SC6.2.4 of the Noosa Plan 2020 with regard to acoustic amenity. Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Yours faithfully, John Barker BEng (Mechanical) Acoustic Consultant Live It Acoustics 1300 775 800 Live It Acoustics Page 1
