RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Director Infrastructure Services to the Services &
Organisation Committee Meeting dated 8 August 2017 providing an update on operations of the
Planning & Infrastructure Department for the period 1 April to 30 June 2017.


REPORT
The adopted organisation structure includes the following branches under the Planning and
Infrastructure Department:
    Building and Plumbing;
    Civil Operations;
    Infrastructure Planning and Design;
    Planning and Environment;
    Strategic Land Use; and
    Disaster Management

This report provides a brief summary regarding recent performance, current priorities and future
initiatives for the Planning and Infrastructure Department.

In future, this departmental update will be separated into two separate reports to reflect the new
organisational structure.
