They can be fully formed by 10pm and not clear until 7-8am the next day. As the inversions begin to lift, they usually move NE towards the head of the valley. The number of inversion events recorded in the valley between July and Oct 2015 were: July - 10 events Aug - 12 Sept - 10 to 19th Oct - 9 Attached are 2 photos of inversions taken from my property looking across the valley to the Cooroy-Belli Creek Rd. Inversions concentrate emissions, delay dispersion and alter dispersion ranges and patterns. PAEHolmes has acknowledged that inversion breakup fumigation may cause excessively high concentrations and that there are no refined techniques to model this (Best Practice Guidance - Plume Dispersion Modelling and Meteorological Processing, May 2011). Yours sincerely, Cath Jones 68 Top Forestry Rd, Ridgewood
