PM Submission - Rosemary Baker - MCU22/0201
Subject: MCU22/0201 - 34 Elm St, Cooroy – Proposed Car Wash in Cooroy From: Rosemary Baker Date: 2023-10-22T05:25:39+00:00 To: Mailbox Council Mail [You don't often get email from [email protected]. The building and landscaping plans look suited to the Cooroy streetscape. I don’t feel there would be a significant impact on traffic there as most cars using the facility would already be passing and the business can benefit from being visible. The main congestion times are school drop off and pick up which shouldn’t clash with high use times of the car wash. It is better than the industrial area which will see more traffic going through town and mixing with the already congested business area traffic. I also like the eco friendly aspect, less harsh chemicals and oils running into the storm water and natural systems. This site will eventually be developed one way or another. I think the current proposal is as good as any. It is great to see local people investing in the Cooroy economy. Rosemary Baker 54 Ferrells Road Cooroy 4563 Sent from my iPhone
