EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
To meet its monthly reporting obligations under section 204 of the Local Government Regulation
2012 (the Regulation), a monthly financial report is to be provided to Council for its information. This
report complies with section 204 of the Regulation, providing Council with a report on its financial
performance to 30 November 2025 against its Revised Budget for the 2025-26 financial year as
adopted by Council on 21 August 2025.

Council's overall financial performance to 30 November 2025 was a net surplus of $18.5m which is
tracking above the projected net surplus of $13.3m with Council's operating result at 30 November
2025 being a surplus of $11.0m which compares favourably with Council's projected operating
surplus of $8.9m.

At 30 November 2025, noting the financial impacts of delays to the capital works program, there are
no other significant identified financial risks that will impact Council's forecasted financial position at
30 June 2026.

RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by Revenue Services Manager and Financial Services Manager (Acting)
to the General Committee dated 15 December 2025 regarding Council's financial performance to 30
November 2025.


REPORT
While this report provides commentary on Council's financial performance to 30 November 2025, it
is important to note that these financial results remain subject to change, as end of financial year
adjustments relating to the preparation of Council's 2024-25 Financial Statements remain a work in
progress. This especially applies to many of the figures reported in the Statement of Financial
Position and Statement of Changes in Equity.
