Noosa Heads Transport & Movement PT infrastructure Hastings Street needs a shuttle to / from the Heads to River to allow those with a car to get there.
Hinterland & Rural Villages Transport & Movement PT infrastructure More bus services and infrastructure to Kin + Pomona + Tuckekoi. Include bus stops for safety and earlier and later services (x 4 )
Bus service to Boreen Point is inflexible and unreliable. Should be covered by extended Flexi-Link service. Make Hasting Street and Park Rd
Hinterland & Rural Villages Transport & Movement PT infrastructure
traffic free with shuttle bus to Noosa Junction. Think vibrant Noosa with pedestrian access and very little cars/traffic.
Noosa Heads Transport & Movement PT infrastructure Close Hastings Street to traffic (except service) and have more people using public transport and bikes
Hinterland & Rural Villages Transport & Movement PT infrastructure Need some form of public transport to the hinterland areas. Without a car nothing accessible.
Hard to get into Noosa - nor rural bus service and small bus even 3 times per week along school bus route. - Why not piggy back off these
Shire Wide Transport & Movement PT infrastructure
?
Shire Wide Transport & Movement PT infrastructure Open air bus shuttle bus like in Hawaii which is affordable and frequent
Concern about continuation of long term contracts with Translink and the difficulties this will have with moving towards zero net
emissions and trailing new innovations. There is a need for greater integration of transport modes with the ferry, busses, scooter and bike
hire . Need to link open space and community events with better public transport to reduce car parking and traffic issues. Look at
Shire Wide Transport & Movement PT infrastructure reintroducing travel smart programs for behaviour change and reduce private car usage. Need to expand free bus service with pilot
programs like restricting car access tithe national park and Hastings street between certain times. Council staff to show model behaviour
and introduce a fleet of scoters , eBikes for Councillor and staff use. Bike to work days and car free days. Reduce car parking time limits in
Hastings Street and the surrounds during peak times.
Noosa Heads Transport & Movement PT infrastructure Public transport is not good and costs too much in Noosa

Shire Wide Transport & Movement PT infrastructure be beneficial to the congestion during peak season.
Hoppa buses are a brilliant way around this - buses that operate on a fixed fare, continuous circuit around the shops and holiday places.
Shire Wide Transport & Movement PT infrastructure
This would alleviate the mad Hastings St traffic jams
$1 hop on small buses that continuously travel the Hastings St., Noosa junction, Gympie Tce (river mouth end) circle. 2 or 3 running
Shire Wide Transport & Movement PT infrastructure simultaneously during holidays, weekends and festivals - 1 in quieter times. We have to make it easier and more convenient to not take
cars into Hastings street.
HASTINGS ST - should be closed off as a pedestrian area with residents & deliveries & temporary visitors only allowed to drive in. A multi
storey parking area can be built in the grassy oval Lions Park and more parking made available at the junction with a free 1/2 hourly bus
Noosa Heads Transport & Movement PT infrastructure
service from junction to main beach, make it fun. The small bus carriage can run to the end of Hastings to pick up people and their surf
boards.
