Extend the current limited Flexilink service to the whole region. See "GoFlexi Fife' IN Scotland as example but in essence it is an on-call, door-to
door shared cab service across three separate zones. It is of course subsidised, as is the limited Noosa Flexilink service, but it makes far more
economic sense than using large, mostly empty buses on routes such as the 632 to Cooran.
5/06/2016 Changes needed
9/06/2016 Changes needed Increase in services during peak times
27/05/2016 Changes needed Better bus services around school time to cater for more school students taking the bus instead of lots of cards.
27/05/2016 Changes needed No buses to Boreen Point
Kids should walk or be picked up by school buses. How are we older people supposed to shop local without cars as there is no transport within
27/05/2016 Changes needed 2 kms of home?

Smaller more frequent buses may be an answer but bus stops need to be closer together. Where I live, the 2 bus stops either side of me are
30/05/2016 Changes needed quite a distance apart and people with limited mobility have difficulty getting to the bus stop, let alone using public transport in the area.
2/06/2016 Changes needed there are no shelters or seats at many bus stops and the services stick to main routes rather than where people live.
28/05/2016 Changes needed More attractive buses and cheaper
27/05/2016 Changes needed On time buses and cheaper for pensioners
Establishing an effective and well-integrated public transport network - which the Shire does not have now - is the foundational requirement in
27/05/2016 Changes needed encouraging people to opt for public over private vehicle use.
Some of our local routes could be looked at. As it would be great if the 626 or 627 went to Noosa Civic, instead of needing 2 buses to get there
27/05/2016 Changes needed from Sunrise or Sunshine.
28/05/2016 Changes needed would like more buses running after 6 pm, please.
Public transport is more expensive than cars. Make bus travel cheaper for families and access to Go Cards easier ie Coles Woolies IGA. people
travel by car if they have the choice. The Value Proposition of travelling on a bus is simply not where it needs to be. 'Education' to encourage
the public to switch to buses won't deliver a significant return on investment until buses offer better value. That means (i) lowering the price,
28/05/2016 Changes needed (ii) increasing the frequency and (iii) reducing journey times.
28/05/2016 Changes needed Public transport is not suitable for people living outside Noosa, Noosaville and Tewantin.
Convenience is a major factor in using a car over a bus. Solutions to this can be a) make it more convenient to catch a bus (better routes, more
buses, etc.) or b) make it less convenient to drive a car (paid parking, restricted parking, angle parking in the Junction, speed limits etc.).
However, even if all the residents saw the light and caught the bus instead of driving I have no doubt it wouldn't resolve the issues with tourist
2/06/2016 Changes needed traffic at peak times.

I would like to see a free local loop bus for Noosa rate payers that at the very least loops Noosa Junction, Hasting Street and Gympie Terrace.
But would be great to also include Noosa Marina and Perigean as well.
3/06/2016 Changes needed Locals should be encourage and incentivised to use affordable forms of transport. Adding more car parking just make it easier to drive a car.
8/06/2016 Changes needed Bus service to/from Kin Kin to the coast / Noosa area
8/06/2016 Changes needed Kin Kin to Noosa bus service for teenagers
9/06/2016 Changes needed Bus service from Kin Kin to Boreen Point to Tewantin now that DR Pages Rd is sealed
9/06/2016 Changes needed Small Hinterland bus services
9/06/2016 Changes needed Kin Kin area is growing - please provide a service to this region now that Dr Pages Rd is complete
Now that the Kin Kin population is growing the bus that starts in Cooran could start in Kin Kin especially on weekends and school holidays for
our growing teenage who seek employment in other parts of the Noosa shire. Also now that Dr Pages has been sealed you could supply a small
bus for Kin Kin, Cootharaba, Boreen Point, and McKinnon Drive residents. We pay a transport levy in our rates - about time it was utilised.
9/06/2016 Changes needed
I believe a bus service Kin Kin - Boreen Point - Noosa is a unique opportunity for council in its role of removing barriers for prosperity of the
Hinterland. Dollars spent on a small bus in an area currently lacking any bus service is bound to have a higher added benefit than spending an
additional dollar in already serviced areas - but the easiest & cheapest way to find out would be to just trial this new route for one holiday
11/06/2016 Changes needed period and see the response!
I would love to see a bus service from Kin Kin. Therefore I would like to suggest a smaller bus (14-20 people) ie 632 bus service to and from
Cooran (around 8.30am) and again in the early evening to return to Kin Kin (around 6.10pm). To start the Kin Kin service can be run only on
weekends and holidays and if proven popular this can be extended. This can keep costs down whilst providing a trial service to see whether an
11/06/2016 Changes needed ongoing and possibly more extensive service is required and feasible in the future.
