Noosa Council TravelSmart program was fantastic and should be
started again. Tourism business really got on board with the
TravelSmart program with Tourism Noosa assistance. – Educate.
Avoid “city” solutions where possible (stuck on a picture of a big sign)
Important behaviour change theory says don’t tell people how they
should change – engaging community in behaviour change needs to
consider reason-actioned approach and theory.
General Maintain Noosa as “welcoming” to visitors. Work out how to service
increasing visitation rather than “closing” Noosa.
