Closest Residence to South-West

At the closest residence to the south-west, on the eastern side of Ferrells Road, the noise level impact
of the different noise sources are as per Table 5.

All of the above noise sources, including the combined noise level of grinding, metal cut off saw,
welding, radio and some hammering, complies with the noise limits for the complete 24-hour day at the
closest residence to the west, with no additional noise control measures required.


NOISE CONTROL MEASURES

As the noise limits are complied with for the complete 24-hour period, at all of the closest residences, no
additional noise control measures are required for the proposed industrial sheds.


CONCLUSIONS

It is proposed to develop the currently vacant subject site at 5 Taylor Court, Cooroy with industrial
sheds. Potential noise sources associated with these proposed industrial sheds could include:

•    delivery vehicles, both raw materials and finished product;
•    passenger vehicle movements on site;
•    manufacturing machinery, including both metalwork and woodwork;
•    motor vehicle repairs; and
•    plant and equipment.
