SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 10 MARCH 2020
BCC broadly tracked in line with budget for the first 6 months of 2019/20, with revenue $3k under
forecast, as was the case with expenditure. These two variances almost entirely offset each other,
with the net result for the period being a favourable variance to budget of just under $20.
The overview of historical performance below shows a clear trend of revenue growth which is
largely associated with the growth of Montessori Noosa. Most areas of expenditure have been
relatively well contained over the past few years. The increase in depreciation expense is a result
of the expanded footprint of the hall which was extended by the Gymnastics Club using Club and
state government funds.
