                 I advise that I support the above application on the following basis. 1 The proposal is consistent
                 with the nature of a similar business in the street namely Noosa River Caravan Park. This
                 enterprise occupies one half of Russell St and does include backpacker van accommodation in
                 the van and tent area. 2.The location is excellent with close proximity to local businesses and
                 public transport. Many businesses trade on restricted hours due to staffing shortages. This
                 proposal would help alleviated this problem. 3. Backpackers have proven to be model visitors
                 and spread the word on Noosas many attributes on their foward travels. 4. Backpackers spend
                 big money on tours, cafes etc. 5. This submission assumes that council will address on site
                 parking concerns that some residents in Russell St have voiced. These on site parking spaces
                 should be free of charge and on a first in best dressed basis otherwise vehicles will park on street
                 if the spaces are subject to reserve and charge. In summary as a owner resident in Russell St I
                 support the application and look foward to Noosa welcoming some extra international and local
                 backpackers to our area. After all tourism is critical to the prosperity to our area. Yours
