I would like to lodge my objection to the proposed development in Gibsons Rd at the corner of Skipper.

 

I am a resident of the Noosa Waters estate (Ray Zambergs, 1/19 Bluefin Crt Noosaville).

 

My objection is on the following grounds

·         There is a nearby shopping centre and other retailers who provide the same services as proposed – and they are not that busy.

·         The main difference appears to be the late night services available. A nearby McDonalds already is open and provides this service.

·          I feel that the combination of the nearby hotel and convenience stores open at all hours would add a toxic combination – accessing the area around my house would no longer be safe by foot – there is a pedestrian walkway near the corner of Skipper and Gibson  used by a large number of residents – I for one would not feel safe using that at night.

 

If the go ahead is given for this Development, then at least please consider limiting the operating hours.
