Assessment Manager Noosa Shire Council PO Box 141 Tewantin QLD, 4565 [email protected] To whom it may concern RE: Objection to Telecommunications Installation at Cooran: Application No. MCU18/0166 I object to the tower proposed at 244 Tablelands Road Cooran. The reasons for opposition are: * From Noosa Trail 3 the view from the ridge is toward the tower which will be clearly seen protruding above trees into the sky * The negative impact to views from many properties and from a distance Noosa’s biodiversity and protection of environments * Effect of future tower extensions on the visual impact. * Effect on the rural character of Cooran. This application contravenes the requirements of the Noosa plan and I hope that Noosa Council will stand by the Noosa Planning Scheme 23-Telecaommunication towers and reject the application.
