The parking utilisation based on the aerial imagery survey suggests that carparking within the Tewantin study
area is currently within the target utilisation range of 70% to 90%, with a carparking utilisation rate of 84% overall.
There is significant variation in parking utilisation within the study area. Parking adjacent to RSL Memorial Park
is highly utilised, while Blakesley Street is under-utilised. The aerial imagery survey parking utilisation is within
the range of the observation surveys (62% - 91%) but slightly higher than the average observation survey
utilisation at 77%. This indicates that existing parking supply generally has capacity to cater for additional on-
street parking demands.
