Dear Sir, Madam

We make the following submission to the above mentioned change of use application.
Our concerns are as followed:

1. The amount of industrial noise which may be generated from the use of power tools and equipment in the middle of a residential area.

What regulations and safe guards will be implemented to gage what is an acceptable level, and will buffers and barriers be considered to keep noise at a minimum?

2. Hours of operation.

Will there be time restrictions on industrial activities and general noise and how will this be regulated?
Will it operate 7 days a week?

3. Property values with regards to an industrial and public meeting place in close proximity to residents homes.

Many residents in the immediate area of this proposal - including ourselves, are already faced with de-value of our properties due to flooding issues and this could potentially de-value them further.

Although we feel the Men’s Shed initiative can be beneficial to the wellbeing of its members, we feel this site is in too close proximity to residential dwellings and would be better situated in an industrial or non-residential area.
