EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The proposed development application seeks approval for a Material Change of Use for an
extension to an existing Food and Drink Outlet to formalise the existing outdoor dining areas at
the subject site. No building works are proposed.
Food and Drink Outlet is code assessable development within the Local Centre Zone and is
consistent with the zoning intent for the Pomona town centre. The formalisation of the existing
outdoor use areas triggers two additional car spaces pursuant to the Noosa Plan 2020. The site
provides no onsite carparking spaces, however as the use has historically operated successfully
without onsite carparking and having regard to the surplus of available spaces within the township
