applicant advising that the proposal seeks a retrospective approval to formalise the use of areas
within the site that have historically been used for food and drink outlet purposes.
The rear of the site contains two buildings and existing outdoor dining areas that form part of the
application. The building in the centre of the site, incorporates a small kitchen/bar area with servery
windows and adjoins an existing paved outdoor dining area covered by a skillion roof. The rear
building has been used for a variety of retail purposes including an antiques shop.
The proposed outdoor dining areas are positioned in the middle, side and rear of the premises and
nominated as dining areas 2, 3 and 4 on the proposal plans. The total combined area for Dining
Areas 2, 3 and 4, which form part of this application is 85.8m2.
The use also includes nominating space for a food truck to operate from within the area annotated
as Dining Area 4 (see proposed floor plan - figure 2/ Attachment A).
