Reserve inspections will be conducted on a yearly basis and will capture:
Vegetation condition and how it is responding to on ground works;
Condition of any built assets (trails, paths, signage, bridges, tables, seats);
Fire fuel loads if relevant;
Any notable species observations; and,
Encroachments via urban impacts and other pressures outlined above in section 6.
This information will be collected electronically and uploaded into a data system that generates
work orders for action.
7.6 Service Levels
A level of service is the amount of resourcing Council will put towards managing a reserve to
address its legal obligations, community expectations, level of threat, and the potential for
biodiversity values to be maintained or improved. Levels of service capture both proactive and
reactive actions.
Each service item within the Level of Service table has an estimated costing identified including
plans, staff time, expenses and contracting costs.
