The information requested is set out below:
Issue
Council has some concerns with the proposed retaining wall replacing the existing revetment wall. The proposed wall appears to be significantly higher than the original revetment wall that stood approximately 500mm above the beach profile and there is some concern with the new wall being sufficient to cater for the expected loadings from tidal and flood waters
Information Required
Indicate on the plans:
the reduced level of the top of the original revetment wall,
the reduced level of the top of the proposed retaining wall, and
provide justification for any increase in height of the wall
Provide certification from the design engineer that states that the proposed wall has been designed to cater for the expected loadings from tidal and flood waters and will be suitable for the intended use
Issue
The design plan 30153-J7 includes detail of a “boat tie post” but the location and number of boat tie posts is not clearly indicated on the site and section plans
Information Required
Indicate on the relevant plans the proposed boat tie posts.
