MWA Environmental 2.3.4 DEVELOPMENT GENERATED TRAFFIC NOISE Traffic projections indicate that the proposed development will generate in the order of 4 vehicle movements (i.e. 2 in, 2 out) average per day. This minor traffic generation has no potential to cause any regulatory traffic noise planning levels to be exceeded at residential land uses. The overall impact on the existing acoustic environment from development generated traffic will be negligible. 2.4 SUMMARY OF NOISE IMPACT ASSESSMENT The noise assessment and modelling conducted indicates that the proposed development will comply with the relevant noise amenity criteria at all surrounding residences. The minor traffic generated by the proposed development has no potential to cause any regulatory noise amenity criteria to be exceeded at residential land uses. As such, it is recommended that the proposed development be approved with reasonable and relevant conditions in relation to noise amenity impacts as would be expected for any development of this nature.
