2 Assessment Approach and Data Collation
2.1 Approach
The assessment consisted of the following:
x Hydrologic analysis and modelling to calculate design peak flows under the pre-development
and post-development scenarios.
x Hydrologic modelling to quantify and optimise an on-site stormwater detention system to ensure
the post-development flows are not greater than the pre-development case.
x Stormwater quality modelling to demonstrate compliance with stormwater quality objectives
set out for the Site.
2.2 Data Collation
The following data was assembled for use in developing hydrologic and stormwater quality models
of the Site under the pre-development and post-development conditions.
x 1-metre resolution 2015 LiDAR-derived digital elevation model (DEM) of the local catchment
sourced from an online national dataset (Elvis)1.
x A 6-minute rainfall pluviograph obtained from eWater Group2.
