INFORMATION REQUIRED
The information requested is set out below:
Issue
The provided plan indicates that the level difference between the kerb invert (RL 26.844) and the garage floor (RL 27.02) is 176mm.
Note 11 on council’s standard drawing RS-050 requires that “Driveways must achieve a high point of 250mm above invert of kerb to ensure stormwater is contained within the road reserve (…)”.
It is also noted that the entrance to the subject property is near the lowest point of Park Crescent.
Information Required
Provide amended plans, prepared by a RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) detailing the access driveway and manoeuvring area. The detail must include but not be limited to:
demonstrating compliance note 11 on council’s standard drawing RS-050;
levels and grades of the access driveway and the maneuvering areas;
a longitudinal section extending from the centerline of the formation in Park Crescent to the proposed garage;
demonstrating that a B99 vehicle will not bottom out or scrape entering/exiting the driveway;
the necessary stormwater drainage structures.
