RE: Nutrient calculations proposed Free Range Broiler production system

Dear David

As requested an analysis has been conducted in relation to the potential Nitrogen production levels being
generated by a proposed poultry free range broiler system to be located on your property at Cooroy.

Figures provided by you in relation to shed size, number, batch turnover and litter depth for the poultry
enterprise as well as details of the existing Avocado orchard have been overlaid in a model with industry data
on Poultry Litter analysis and the creation of compost from such litters.

The analysis has revealed that while the poultry manure compost that will be produced by the proposed system
will supply significant Nitrogen, the actual requirements of your existing Avocado orchard are higher. This has
shown that while all the poultry manure compost produced on farm can be utilised by the orchard additional

Nitrogen will be required.

The use of the Poultry Manure compost as a base fertiliser and combined with additional manufactured Nitrogen
will result in a highly productive and sustainable farming operation.

Attached is Table 1 detailing the variable and calculations in the model as well as references used to source the
key variables.
