Thank you for your email.

As discussed Section 7 of the odour assessment report (D17045-9) discusses the potential impacts of odour on the proposed development
specifically at the accommodation area and at the outdoor recreation areas, being the tennis court and the pool.

The assessment has considered predicted odour levels based on hours of operation:

       Accommodation - an assessment has been made against all hours as the hotel will operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
       Outdoor recreational areas - an assessment has been made against the proposed hours of operation, that is 7am to 8:30pm for the
       tennis court and 7am to 7pm for the pool.
This assessment (Table 5 of the odour assessment report) shows:


      Concentrations of odour at the accommodation area of the proposed development are predicted to comply with the odour guideline at
      the façade of the hotel closest to the Noosa WWTP.
      Considering the likely hours of operation of the tennis courts and pool, ground-level concentrations of odour at these outdoor
      recreation areas are predicted to comply with the odour guideline.
Further analysis of the predicted odour concentrations with meteorology shows:

          Odour concentrations are highest when wind speed is less than 2 m/s and the wind is from the north and north-northeast. These
          conditions generally occur in the early morning or in the evening.
          This is reflected in the daily profile of predicted odour concentrations, which shows that peak concentrations are higher overnight
          between 5pm and 5am and very low during the day.
          The majority of odour predictions are well below the odour guideline.
          Adverse meteorological conditions are predicted to occur for approximately 3% of the time.
