To The Assessment Manager Submission re MCU 21/0054 – 30 Kingfisher Drive Peregian Beach I am a home owner in Peregian Beach and am concerned about the increasing number of dwellings offering short-term accommodation in our locality. We are a family of four with two young children (age 6 and 8). I object to the application because the proposal is contrary to the Noosa Plan which states: "Development contributes to the lifestyle and amenity of residents and visitors in the coastal communities." I consider this one of the core values of the Noosa Plan and the reason we have chosen to make Peregian Beach our permanent family home. This proposal will impact residential amenity due to the associated noise, increased pressure on parking and the increasing conversion of residential areas into visitor accommodation areas. Peregian Beach is special because of its strong, connected and resilient community and every additional conversion of a residential property to STL is another nail in the coffin of this community. Yours sincerely Alex Murray 34 Peregian Esp, Peregian Beach
