Attached to the e-mail PM Submission - Richard Waddell & Lynette Howson - MCU21/0154.
To whom it may concern. Re: Application # MCU21/0154 We object to the planned Small Scale Meat Processing Plant at 82 Patterson Drive Tinbeerwah, We believe this type of activity is totally inappropriate for a residential area of any sort and should be located in a commercial location in keeping with the type of activity it is. To suggest that a sophisticated meat processing plant which entails the transportation, hanging, inspection and processing of large “eviscerated” carcasses within a residential community as being a small benign home business within the scope of the Noosa Plan 2020 is unreasonable at best. We are also concerned that this application has already received tacit approval as the facility is already built according to a recent letter drop by the applicants which sets the building process out in detail. If so we would find this highly irregular and not within the spirit of community consultation. As residents in this area for over 20 years we are not against small home businesses in residential areas and indeed have supported them for all the good reasons they offer but there must be a limit to what is appropriate. We would suggest the wider community would find this style of activity inappropriate for their residential community. Sincerely, SC Zo tl o eAtpde ¢ ES Richard Waddell Lynnette Howsom
