 We would like to voice our support to the Memorial Hall Committee in their
 endeavours to have the Cooroy Memorial Hall repaired and not demolished
 and support them in an ongoing management role of the hall on behalf of the
 local community.
 We have over many years been involved in events held at the hall such as the
 Cooroora woodworkers show and exhibition. Last year this event was unable
 to utilise the hall and had numerous stalls out under the stars which provided
 problems for security of property and possible rain or storms.
 We believe that the Cooroy Community and Noosa Shire will benefit from the
 many uses that can be generated by the hall being reopened.
