DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL OVER LAND AT 28 EENIE CREEK ROAD,
NOOSAVILLE (LOT 3 ON SP246584) – EXISTING DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL FOR
SHIRE BUSINESS CENTRE – STAGE 1
NOOSA APPLICATION REFERENCE: 132002.220285.4
Cardno acts on behalf of QIC Noosa Civic Pty Ltd (“the Applicant”) in relation to the land
at 28 Eenie Creek Road, Noosaville (“the site”) and the abovementioned development
approval.
Please accept this correspondence and accompanying attachment as an ‘other’ change
application pursuant to Section 82 of the Planning Act 2016 (“Planning Act”) to the
existing relevant development approval (Noosa Ref.: 132002.220285.4) over the site.
The Applicant is seeking to amend the existing development approval to facilitate a car
wash use on the site. The proposed location of the car wash within the existing at grade
car park north of the existing Noosa Civic shopping centre will result in a reduction in the
number of existing and approved car parks.
As a result of the introduction of a proposed new use on the site and resulting minor
increase in GFA, the proposed change does not constitute a minor change pursuant to
section 81 of the Planning Act and consequently the Applicant is making an ‘other’
change application.
