DEVELOPMENT    APPLICATION     FOR    OPERATIONAL WORKS
(ROADWORKS ASSOCIATED WITH A DRIVEWAY) AT 60 AVOCET
PARADE, PEREGIAN BEACH (LOT 255 P93114)

Please find enclosed the following documentation to facilitate Council’s assessment for
Operational Works:

   ●​ DA Form 1;
   ●​ Engineering Plans prepared by SCG Consulting Engineers.

The Council fee will be paid upon receipt of Council invoice.

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

The attached documentation has been prepared in accordance with the requirement of Noosa
Plan 2020 and the relevant MCU25/0031 condition provided by Council as outlined below:

11. A sealed access driveway must be provided from Avocet Parade to all parking and
manoeuvring areas of the development. The works must be undertaken in accordance with
an Operational Works approval and must include in particular:

   (a) A driveway crossover in accordance with Council’s standard drawings RS-049 and
   RS-050.

Comment: Please refer to the attached Engineering Plans prepared by SCG Consulting
Engineers. SCG has confirmed that the driveway widths and grades comply with Council’s
standard drawings, however, there is currently no kerb and channel. The proposed kerb and
channel works are necessary to bring the entire site into full compliance with Council standards
and ensure proper drainage and road function.
