Re: Proposed poultry farm at 136 Top Forestry Road, Ridgewood
MCU12/0184

Dear Mr Knaggs,

I am writing to express my strong support for the above application in the interests of the Cooroy community.

If successful, this proposal will help to ensure the future economic sustainability of our district, with much-needed investment and local jobs at a time when many businesses are struggling and unemployment is rising on the Coast.

I believe this application is consistent with the planning scheme and the wider community view that we need to encourage clean, green industries in appropriately zoned areas.

I understand the applicant is a long-term resident with a proven track record in the agricultural industry who has demonstrated his commitment to the Cooroy district over many years.

I am confident the proposed poultry farm will have minimal impact on the environment, local roads and residents, whilst offering significant and ongoing benefits for the immediate and surrounding areas.

I urge you to give this application favourable consideration.

Yours sincerely,
