Engineering Advice Letter - TOD Consiluting
HG 22520-R1-A 5 April 2022 Warwick Dunstone Quay West Noosa 5/19 Laburnum Cres Noosaville QLD 4566 [email protected] Attention: Warwick Dunstone Dear Sir RE: Application No. 51995.1701.03 & 51995.1701 Structural Assessment for Proposed Additions and Alterations Quay West Noosa, 5/19 Laburnum Cres, Noosaville We have reviewed the proposed additions and alterations to the existing deck and roof structures of Quay West Noosa, 5/19 Laburnum Cres, Noosaville shown on your documentation DZT NOOSA / A - 001,101, 102, 201, and 301, and we have read the Further Advice for your Development Application provided by Noosa Council dated 30 March 2022, and can confirm our opinion is as follows: 1. The proposed new works will not impact on the structural integrity of the existing canal revetment wall, as the proposed new structures will be supported on piers that will take the load path below the zone of influence of the revetment wall. 2. The proposed new works do not specify any new fill material and therefore will not impact further on flood storage capacity. We are working on the structural design for this project and will produce documentation of works that reinforces our input above and your own drawings. Please contact us if you have any further queries. Have a great day. Yours sincerely Hamish Gray, Senior Engineer – Structures Group 07 5449 9600 | [email protected] TOD consulting engineers
