         Site containing regulated waste storages will be secured to prevent unauthorised persons;

         Containers storing regulated wastes will be securely closed where practical;

         All containers area to be labelled at all times for clear interpretation of contents

         Storages must have adequate containment measures to prevent spills;

         Sufficient and appropriate spill kit will be provided with appropriate instructions and training. Spills will not be
          cleaned by hosing or activities resulting in the further spread of contaminant to land or water;

         No liquid wastes, wash down waters or stormwater contaminated with hazardous wastes will be disposed of via
          the stormwater drainage system;

         As soon as practicable remove of all regulated waste to a licensed waste disposal facility or recycling facility; and

         Regulated waste must not be burned on site.


6.3.           DANGEROUS GOODS WASTE
A Dangerous Goods that has been opened and partially used that is no longer useful is classified as a regulated waste.
All Dangerous Goods waste should be labelled in accordance with the Australian Standard AS1216:2006. To determine
whether a regulated waste is dangerous good refer to the product specific SDS. Information obtained within the SDS is
required to complete the Waste Transport Certificate (part 1).


      7. WASTE TRANSPORT AND DISPOSAL

7.1            TRANSPORT AND DISPOSAL
Waste transport and disposal must follow the below protocols:

         All wastes must be disposed by a licensed contractor.

         A Waste Tracking Certificate will be provided by waste contractor upon Regulated Waste disposal (Waste
          Tracking Guideline is available on the Intranet)

         Where applicable, portable bunds/ drip trays/ absorbent pad will be used under load out arms for liquid wastes to
          assist in contaminating any spillage during the load out process.


7.2            GENRAL REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING WASTE TRACKING
               CERTIFICATE (WTC)
The following is general requirements for completing Waste Tracking Certificate:

         Print in CAPITAL LETTERS from left-hand side;
         Do not write outside the designated boxes;

         Do not tear unique certificate number – transpose onto certificate if torn;

         Ensure that all appropriate parts of the certificate are completed;

         Use black or blue pen only;

         Do not fold or staple waste transport certificate;
         The prescribed time for giving waste transport certificates to the department is seven (7) days.
Hutchinson Builders as the waste generator is responsible to complete part 1 of the Waste Tracking Certificate. The person
completing the form must be familiar with the waste and its hazards and be authorised on behalf of the waste generator.
