to me, Frank
Hi Sabine,
Keith and myself were ecstatic when we found out you were reinventing the old
Garden centre that had closed down. We do not want an ugly vacant site on an
important corner of South Peregian beach. The difference it has made already
removing most of the prison bars and concentration camp barbed wire. To find out
we were getting about four things has been creating great excitement in our suburb.
There is no real Homewares in Peregian or Coolum anymore so we are keen for that
to get off the ground as well.
The real excitement over your concept is the fact that finally we will get a cafe in
South Peregian beach. We at Sails Lifestyle Resort are over the moon that this is
finally happening. We get a lot of Guests and Residents that don't have their own
transport so this will be a Godsend. We very much want to support this in both its
infancy and when it opens for business. This can only add to Peregian as a whole,
anyone who says otherwise has to have dubious motives. There have been plenty of
times when even ourselves have driven to the village for morning tea and had to
drive on to Coolum because we could not park anywhere near the shops. This will
not close down the village, it will compliment it.
So from a couple who have been in business here managing a site of twenty-two
properties for nearly nine years you have our support, and there are plenty who
agree with us. We are also multiple property owners in South Peregian Beach. We
will be watching this with great interest we can assure you.
Warm Regard::,
David Addenbrooke. Resort Manager.

Frank.wilkie, Sails, Sabine.Freitag Hi Sabine We received this email yesterday from David and Keith at Sails Lifestyle Resort and would like to say that we support the contents of their email and would very much like to see your business go ahead. We hope that the council also get on board and support small business in the area. We think that the garden centre / coffee shop / Real Estate would benefit the people at this end of Peregian Beach. We have guest that arrive without a car and are always looking to simply walk to a coffee shop for a morning or late afternoon coffee so this would benefit our guest and the people in the surrounding area greatly. It is always hard to find parking at the Village when you just wanting to slip down for a quick coffee with a friend. I know that I would use it and point my guest in your direction. What you have accomplished with the premises already has made a vast improvement to the street appeal. Good luck and hope to see you open your doors very soon.
