                     Dear Sir/Madam,

                     Re: Application for a Change to a Development Approval for Stage 3 – Aged
                         Persons Home - Extensions & Alterations situated at 100 Cooyar Street,
                         Noosa Heads described as Lot 9 RP 225312

                     I refer to your request to make a change to the above development approval. On 7
                     December 2005 Council decided to:

                     A.    Approve the change with the approved plans to comprise those numbered DA-1
                           dated September 2005 and SD2, SD3, dated July 2005 and SD4 dated May
                           2005, prepared by Andrew Hillhouse Architect.
                     B.    Amend Conditions 4, 15, and 19.
                     C.    Delete Condition 5.
                     D.    Include 24 additional conditions and 3 Advices.
                     E.    Issue a Compiled Decision Notice.
                     F.    Advise the applicant that a further Development Permit for Operational Works for
                           access, car parking, site civil works, stormwater drainage, landscaping is required
                           prior to issue of a Development Permit for Building Works.
                     You are entitled to appeal against this decision. A copy of the relevant appeal
                     provisions from the Integrated Planning Act is also attached.

                     Please note that an Infrastructure Charge in accordance with the Coastal Major Road
                     Network Infrastructure Charges Plan has been triggered by the approval of this
                     development application. An Infrastructure Charge Notice is attached in compliance
                     with Chapter 5 of the Integrated Planning Act 1997.

                     Should you wish to obtain more information about Council’s decision, the reports and
                     staff recommendations regarding this application are available for viewing or purchase
                     at the Level 2 counter of Council offices. It would assist Council staff if you could bring
                     this letter with you.
