Figure 2: Noosa Council Landslide Hazard Overlay

It is understood that the proposed development will comprise a series of one and two storey specialist
disability accommodation dwellings, with associated driveway and carparking. Earthworks to construct
level building pads will consist of cuts up to approximately 1.4 m in height in the north-eastern corner
and filling up to approximately 2.3 m in height in the south-western corner. The cut and fill is to be
retained by engineered designed retaining walls. The stormwater drainage system will also consist of a
shallow swale drain along the eastern and southern site boundary and on-site infiltration.

A qualitative assessment of the likelihood, consequence and risk to the property in its present condition
and the proposed development has been carried out in general accordance with the methods suggested
in the Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS) Guidelines (2007). Based on the investigation results,
provided that works are carried out in accordance with the recommendations in the geotechnical report
there will be a very low risk of slope instability impacting the site or any adjoining sites.
