Consultation

External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder

•     Free information sessions were held across the Shire for eligible not for profit community
      organisations to learn about the Council Community Grants Program.
•     Tourism Noosa
•     State Government, Sport and Recreation Services

Internal Consultation

This report has been developed in consultation with staff across Council including
representatives from the following areas:
•    Community Development team
•    Executive Office
•    Financial Services
•    Environmental Services

Applications for Community Project Grants have been assessed by Specialist Officers and
moderated by a panel consisting of the Director of Community Services, Community
Development Manager and Planning and Environment Manager.

As part of the moderation process the Director of Community Services declared a conflict of
interest with regard to the applications from the Ceramic Centre of Excellence and the Noosa
Open Studio applications and the Community Development Manager declared a conflict of
interest with regard to the application from the Noosa Triathlon Club Inc and the Cooroora United
Football Club Inc.
