SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA 28 OCTOBER 2019
The application proposes to remove all vegetation on all lots other than lots 3 and 7, apart from a
10 metre wide strip to the south of these lots which is proposed to be removed for bushfire
protection purposes.
Recent vegetation removal has occurred throughout the site determined by the applicant to be
‘essential urgent bushfire management’. The removal of vegetation occurred essentially along
the same alignment as the areas defined by the proposed Hofmann Drive extension, the
proposed new private road dissecting Lots 3 and 7, to the proposed bushfire covenant area to
the west and south of lots 12 -15 and to the northern boundary of proposed lots 23 -25. This is
discussed further in the Bushfire Management section of this report.
