habitat and movement opportunities for fauna, including koalas. Consequently, the
development does not diminish koala food or shelter resources.
AO11.3 – Habitat connectivity and movement
The development does not result in the removal of koala habitat trees or fragment
existing vegetation. Given the small footprint, lightweight nature, and placement within
a cleared area, the proposal does not affect connectivity between koala habitat areas or
interfere with safe koala movement. Existing habitat linkages within and beyond the site
are maintained.
AO11.4 – Construction impacts
Construction activities are minor and confined to an already cleared area. No vegetation
removal, earthworks, or roadworks are proposed that would increase the risk of death or
injury to koalas. As such, additional koala movement or exclusion measures are not
required, and the proposal will not elevate construction-related risks to koalas.
