Performance Outcome PO10
Recreation activities are designed and operated to avoid noise emissions that unreasonably
impact on the amenity of the area and sensitive and uses.
As previously discussed under Performance Outcome PO42 of the District Centre zone code
and Performance Outcome PO9 of the Recreation Activities code, the following mitigation
methods exist on site:
       • Extensive, established vegetation buffer along the southern boundary
       • 1.8m high fence along southern boundary
       • Buildings orientated towards Gibson Road, away from sensitive land uses
The existing building is offset 6.01m from the southern boundary. Shop 3, the subject lot, is
set back approximately 7m.
It is considered that the proposal will be adequately buffered from the residential zone to
the south and comply with Performance Outcome PO10.
