4 I NTRODUCTION
The site at 3 Allambi Rise is located within the Noosa Council coastal suburb of Noosa Heads.

Allambi Rise is on the north-western side of Noosa Heads on a natural hill formation above
Noosa Main Beach. The general area and surrounding roads have good tree cover that blends
into and provides connectivity to the adjoining Noosa Heads National Park. A council-
controlled Environmental Management and Conservation easement runs north-south along
the western boundary of the site.

The treescape at the front of the property is a mix of naturally occurring and planted local
native trees that provide privacy to the site. It is proposed that, where possible, existing trees
will be retained and protected whilst achieving the project design.

The project proposes to demolish the existing dwelling and rebuild, with trees being retained
within the rear garden and selective trees retained in the front garden and road reserve.
