I {We}, make the following submission: INVeobject to the proposal for a seMce station development as per the Application MCU151OO95at J
lot 30 SP 170751, 115 Eumundi-Noosa Road (adjacent to the GSlC and open-air school pool) because '(We believe: I
I- the proximity of a service station, an open--airswimming pool, approximately 900 school children, an electricity substation and a higher volume of traffic I
I entering this adjacent site poses a number of unnecessary and unacceptable health and safety risks for our school community (on a daily basis, but also
I in the event of an lSlforeseen incident or emergency)
j_ the traffic impact and congestion issues along this section of Eumundi-Noosa Road and at the entry and exil points to both roundabouts in the immediatt
'lvicinity (Goodchap Street and Walter Hay Drive) wnl be significant and unacceptable
j _ there are components of the proposed service station development which are inconsistent and! or non compliant with the Noosa plan
i. there is a not a need for the proposed development, given that Council has recently approved a service station/shop at 139 Eumundi-Noosa Road
~hese concerns are a brief summary only, and lIWe support a more comprehensive Submission which will be lodged by our parent Action Group prior
!tothe due clate 18112/15. I
