Details
We fully support this application for a car wash in Cooroy.

We believe that it will add to the amenity of the area where it is proposed to be located on 30 Elm Street. This side of Town already has the carpark tothe train station, two major bus stops where the long distance buses stopand two servos directly either side of the block. This is already a traffic hub and the application would complement this.

Being on a major road will also have minimal impact on traffic as cars generally only use a car wash when they are already passing it and will not queue past three cars, so there is ample room on the block to wait.With cars being directed into the site down Opal Street and exiting towards the main road again on Diamond Lane, there will be minimal impact on local traffic.

The benefits environmentally of having a car wash are significant and it sounds as if the applicant is going to do everything they can to maximise this. Which includes being in a position where it will get the most amount of passing traffic.
We fully support this car washfor the benefits to the environment and our community.
