The Noosa Plan includes the site within the Noosa Heads Local Plan Area and is zoned Major
Centre. The site is located just outside the Hospitality Precinct (shown as hatched in Figure 3 below).
The Noosa Junction Major Centre zone is one of two Major Centre zones in the Shire (Noosa Civic
is the other), and services the subregional trade catchments with complementary, not competing
roles and functions.
