4        PETITIONS


         1.     PETITION: RE-INSTATE THE DOGGIE-BAG DISPENSER WHICH WAS REMOVED
                FROM THE RUBBISH DISPENSER ADJACENT TO THE BIG PELICAN.

                Seconded:        Cr Pardon
                That the petition tabled by Cr Wellington requesting that Council re-instate the doggie-
                bag dispenser which was removed from the rubbish dispenser adjacent to the Big
                Pelican be received and referred to the Chief Executive Officer to determine
                appropriate action.

    2.          PETITION: REQUEST FOR DOG OFF-LEASH AREA IN THE PARK AREA
                BETWEEN READ AND WERIN STREETS TEWANTIN (PINES PARK)

                Seconded:        Cr Jackson
                That the petition tabled by Cr Wellington requesting that Council create a dog off-leash
                area in the park area between Read and Werin Streets Tewantin (Pines Park), be
                received and referred to the Chief Executive Officer to determine appropriate action.
