ORDINARY MEETING MINUTES                                                              26 JUNE 2014


The following Recommendations from the General Committee were adopted
without discussion or further amendment.

The General Committee recommendations dated 23 June, 2014 be adopted except where dealt
with or held over by separate resolution.
                                                                              Carried.




1    CONTRIBUTION IN LIEU OF THE PROVISION OF OFF STREET PARKING - FURTHER
     REPORT
     That Council note the report by the Senior Strategic Planner to the General Committee
     Meeting dated 23 June 2014 and request Strategic Land Use Planning to prepare a
     detailed report addressing the feasibility of accepting contributions in lieu of the provision of
     off-street parking within each locality and, in the interim, not generally accept monetary
     contributions in lieu of the provision of off-street parking.


3    ASSESSMENT OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR COMMERCIAL HIGH USE
     PERMITS 1314EOI2
     That Council note the report by the Property and Facilities Manager to the Planning &
     Organisation Committee Meeting dated 17 June 2014 and note that a further report on the
     matter will be presented to the Ordinary Meeting on 26 June 2014.


4    REPRESENTATIONS IN RELATION TO DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION MCU13/0069
     SITUATED AT SOUND PARK, 90 NOOSA PARADE, NOOSA HEADS
     That Council agree to the representations submitted in relation to application MCU13/0069,
     situated at Sound Park described as Lot 32 N 21854 situated at 90 Noosa Parade, Noosa
     Heads, and issue a Negotiated Decision Notice in accordance with the following:
     A.     Approve a change to condition 9 to read as follows:
            9.   The approved use must not operate outside the hours of 7am to 12 midnight,
                 seven days per week.
            The requirements of this condition must be included in any lease agreement for the
            outdoor dining areas.
     B.     Agree to delete condition 10.
