GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 16 MAY 2016
Considerations
To ensure that the use of training assets are optimised
and that we can continue to deliver on the training needs
of our communities, various other factors will need to be
considered, such as:
¢ Population growth and demographics
* Changing workforce requirements
* Community profiles and needs
* Current and future skills and training demand
¢ TAFE Queensland training needs forecast
* Learning styles and methods
* Specialised and generic training facilities
¢ Use, condition and ‘fit for purpose’ assessment of assets
* Location and proximity of the ‘asset base’ to meet
training demand (driven by industry and population)
¢ Value to the community
* Budgetary and fiscal constraints.
